Passvie House Concept

A new type of house is on the rise.  It's called a passive house, and it reduces energy use by up to 90%!  "A Passive House is a very well-insulated, virtually air-tight building that is primarily heated by passive solar gain and by internal gains from people, electrical equipment, etc."  This type of house design has been very popular, and has recently been introduced in the U.S.
